Tú Nguyen-Dumont, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Genomic medicine and Bioinformatics and the Head of the Clinical Genomics Laboratory, at the Central Clinical School, at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She is a molecular geneticist and bioinformatician, with expertise in cancer genomics, high-throughput sequencing technologies and variant interpretation. She is currently a Victorian Cancer Agency Mid-Career Fellow. She is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Clinical Pathology, The University of Melbourne.
Her research spans population and public-health-related analyses of cancer susceptibility genomics and implementation of expanded genomic testing. Undertaking germline, somatic, functional and population genomic studies in various tumour types, A/Prof Nguyen-Dumont has a particular interest in breast and prostate cancer.
