- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Jane Visvader (PhD, University of Adelaide) trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the Salk Institute (San Diego) and the Children's Hospital, Boston before appointment as a Laboratory Head at the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. Here she established the Breast Cancer Laboratory together with Prof. Geoff Lindeman. The primary objective of the lab is to define and characterise the breast epithelial differentiation hierarchy, its molecular regulators and 'cells of origin' of breast cancer in order to better understand breast cancer. Her achievements include election to the Australian Academy of Science (2012), the Royal Society (2020) and American Association for Cancer Research (2022).
