- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Michael Milevskiy completed his postdoctoral studies at the University of Queensland, under the supervision of Prof. Melissa Brown. His PhD studies were focused on non-coding RNAs, understanding their regulation and function in breast cancer and the role in patient prognosis. Since 2016, Dr Milevskiy has worked at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in the laboratory of Profs. Jane Visvader and Geoffrey Lindeman. His work has focused on characterising the stem and progenitor cell compartments of the mammary gland, aiming to understand why the progenitor cells and not the stem cells are most susceptible to oncogenic transformation.
